Construction

Planning and design efforts inevitably lead to on-the-ground implementation. The Mammoth Lakes Trail System focuses on its network of hard surface mult-use pathways, or MUPS, its soft surface trails, and the signage and wayfinding program that supports both networks.

Easements and Public Access

The Town of Mammoth Lakes is surrounded by the public lands of the Inyo National Forest, which offers unique outdoor recreation experiences. At certain points along its jurisdictional boundary, the public's access to this public landscape requires legal access through easements held by the Town.
