Trail Coordination Services 2023 - 2026

Project Description: Through a series of successful Measure R funding applications and a master contractual services agreement with the Town of Mammoth Lakes from 2009 to 2012, then from 2015 to 2022, with an extension through June 2023, MLTPA has produced multiple project deliverables for the Mammoth Lakes Trail System program as detailed in the Trail System Master Plan.

With nearly two decades of contractual services experience on behalf of the Mammoth Lakes Trail System, and its capacity support for the Eastern Sierra Sustainable Recreation Partnership (ESSRP), the Sustainable Recreation and Tourism Initiative (SRTI), and Sierra Jobs First as the Industry Sector Coordinator for Recreation and Tourism, MLTPA has demonstrated the capacity, experience, skill sets, and institutional knowledge necessary to meet and exceed the Town’s needs and expectations for trail coordination services for the Mammoth Lakes Trails System.

MLTPA developed a framework used by the Town of Mammoth Lakes to identify and organize the components of the trails system program. MLTPA operates within this framework to organize and manage ongoing maintenance efforts on behalf of the Mammoth Lakes Trail System as directed by the Town of Mammoth Lakes and its Office of Outdoor Recreation.
