Funding Support

Project Description: As the Industry Sector Coordinator for Sustainable Recreation & Tourism projects, MLTPA provided funding and policy support to help bring Catalyst project to life.

To this end, we developed a comprehensive database featuring:

  • Funding Opportunities – A curated list of grants and financial resources available in the sustainable recreation and tourism sectors.
  • Policy Documents & Data Resources – A collection of relevant policies, regulations, and data to help inform and guide project’s development.

Beyond these resources, MLTPA offered personalized support to ensure projects aligned with available funding opportunities and met current policy requirements. MLTPA assisted in the grant application process, helping projects navigate funding requirements and maximizing chances of success. We also provided one-on-one policy consultation, offering expert guidance on project development within existing regulatory frameworks.

Funding Opportunities

MLTPA assembled a database of funding opportunities for sustainable recreation and tourism projects for Sierra Jobs First. This database was a snapshot of opportunities that may align with projects submitted by stakeholders consistent with the Sierra Jobs First Regional Strategy.

Policy Research

MLTPA assembled a database of land management policy documents and data resources to inform the development of Sierra Jobs First projects, which may be useful for other Sierra Jobs First regional efforts.
