National Forest Foundation - ESRC
Funded by a generous grant from the National Forest Foundation, the ESRC produced a series of public meetings with the ultimate goal of developing a framework for implementable, sustainable recreation programs in the Eastern Sierra that address stewardship and outdoor recreation opportunities
National Park Service - RTCA
In 2019, MLTPA was awarded a grant by the NPS and their “Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program” to convene, facilitate and report on a gathering of superintendents to determine their willingness to join the EESSRP and work with local communities in Eastern California.
U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities - IFNF
In 2020, MLTPA was awarded a partnered grant alongside INF and Quantified Ventures to address recreation needs on the Inyo National Forest through a business plan to address compromised campground infrastructure by developing a replicable model for non-federal capital resources for improvements.
GAOA - Eastern Sierra Campground Improvements Project
In 2024, the Inyo National Forest and MLTPA entered into a challenge cost share agreement to hire, supervise, and manage a contracted engineering survey firm to complete the topographical surveys necessary to renovate six INF campgrounds in Mono and Inyo County.
