Nearly a year's worth of work is paying off in the form of the "MLTPA Planning Proposal," a trails and public access planning effort and the document we promised to you last November. We presented this Proposal to the Tourism & Recreation Commission on May 1 at their 5 p.m. regular meeting in Suite Z, which they voted to recommend to the Town of Mammoth Lakes Town Council. The "MLTPA Planning Proposal" will go before the Town Council at the Mid-Year Budget Review on May 16 (6 p.m., Suite Z).
As a community, you have been vocal and present throughout all of MLTPA's efforts, and we need your generous support now more than ever! If you have the evening of May 16 free, please come out to show your support for the "MLTPA Planning Proposal." If you can't make it, please download and sign our Letter of Support. You can either drop it off at our offices (42 Davison #2) or bring it with you to the Council meeting.
