We will provide all necessary tools and specialized safety gear, but ask that participants arrive in long sleeves, long pants, sturdy close-toed shoes, and with some form of eye protection (sunglasses are fine). Anyone without proper footwear will have to sit this one out, so come dressed to get dirty! Please also bring your own sunscreen, hat, bug spray, and water bottle. Water will be available on site, and we will serve breakfast courtesy of Old New York Deli & Bagel Company promptly at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers also will be served lunch after the work program (approximately three hours) is complete. Raffle prizes from a variety of generous donors, from local massage therapy sessions to Patagonia outerwear, will be given away free to our hard-working volunteers.
We hope you'll join us in stewarding and improving the places we all love to play. If you have questions or are interested in co-hosting or sponsorship, please contact Friends of the Inyo at (760) 873-6500 or MLTPA at .
