This Final Draft of the Trail System Master Plan (along with hundreds of other worthy efforts throughout the state) has been affected by the budget turmoil in the State of California and the suspension of grants from the Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC), so it’s not possible to provide free hard copies or free CDs of the trails plan at this time. We’re going to make it as easy as possible for you to download and get access to the plan electronically from this page of our website, and if the funds from the State ever start flowing again, we’ll do our best to make sure that everybody who wants a free hard copy or CD of the Trail System Master Plan Final Draft (2009) gets one. If you have any technical questions about downloading the plan, this web page, or how we can help you print out your own copy of the plan, e-mail us at or give us a call at (760) 934-3154.
The links below will allow you to download the final draft of the plan as either one large file or as individual components. There are also links to download supplemental appendices. Note that because the maps associated with the plan are formatted for printing at 11 x 17 inches, you may want to download them separately. We have provided links for that purpose. We have also prepared a section for those interested in downloading and printing out a hard copy. If you experience technical problems while downloading these documents, please contact us at .
If you have questions about the plan, please contact Town of Mammoth Lakes Principal Planner Steve Speidel in the Community Development Department:
