Measure R Grants and Reporting

Project Description: Measure R, a local sales-tax increase of one-half percent passed by Mammoth Lakes voters in June 2008, is a reliable revenue stream for the sole benefit of local parks, trails, and recreation. Since the spring of 2009, Measure R funding has been made available to public and private organizations in the form of grants that will enhance local recreation in a variety of ways, from planning to construction to programming. MLTPA has successfully applied for and been awarded funding in each Measure R grant cycle since the program's inception, and these monies have assisted us in pursuing our mission and the delivery of a premier trails and public access system to the residents and visitors of Mammoth Lakes.
